ecube, the global leader in aircraft storage, disassembly and transition services, has reached a landmark milestone. From its very first disassembly project in 2012 to its latest disassembly project completed earlier this month, the company has now successfully completed 500 aircraft disassemblies worldwide, a landmark achievement celebrated in partnership with KP Aviation.
The milestone Boeing 737NG aircraft landed at ecube’s HQ facility in St Athan, UK earlier this year and was purchased by KP Aviation ahead of officially becoming disassembly number 500. Throughout the journey to 500, KP Aviation have utilized all three of ecube’s facilities [UK, EU & US] for disassembly projects.
Lee McConnellogue, CEO of ecube, said:
“Reaching 500 aircraft disassemblies is a proud and defining moment for ecube. It reflects not only the trust placed in us by global airlines, lessors, and asset managers, but also the commitment and skill of our teams across every one of our locations. Working with KP Aviation on this milestone aircraft is a fitting way to celebrate, together we share the same focus on quality, precision, and partnership that drives aviation’s circular economy.”
Linn Shaw, CEO of KP Aviation, added:
